The 2019 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m CT on NFL Network. Fans can now buy tickets and make arrangements for the coming fall.

The Chicago Bears will kick off the NFL’s 100th season hosting the Green Bay Packers on opening night. The Bears and Oakland Raiders were selected to take part in the 2019 international series and will play the first NFL game in newly constructed Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 6.

The schedule appears challenging as the Bears are set to take on six opponents that appeared in the 2018 playoffs. They will take on four in a six week stretch between weeks seven and eleven. In its entirety, the Bears’ opponents boast a .520 winning percentage from 2018, good enough for the seventh toughest schedule in the league.

Bears fans will get to see their team on national TV six times this year, five of the six will be in prime-time. The Bears will play the Packers, Redskins, Rams, Lions, Cowboys and Chiefs on national TV in 2019.

The Bears play on Thursday night three times this season but will have only one short week. Chicago will travel to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving on November 28 and they will turn around the following Thursday to play the Cowboys at home on December 5.
